Principal

Michelle Spingola

Michelle Spingola

Michelle Spingola has served as principal of McIntyre Elementary School since July of 2019.

She was hired by the district as a school counselor in 2006 and worked at various district buildings including the middle school and Ross Elementary prior to her appointment as assistant principal for the district’s four elementary schools in 2017.

As assistant elementary principal, Dr. Spingola assumed a variety of responsibilities including leading professional development and training, facilitating safety team meetings and drills, analyzing data for school improvement and preparing for state assessments.

Dr. Spingola earned her master's degree in counselor education and elementary school counseling and bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from Penn State University. She holds a principal's certification and doctoral degree in education from Point Park University and a secondary school counseling certification from Slippery Rock University.

She resides in Cranberry Township with her husband.

Assistant Principal

Brooke Ustazewski

Brooke Ustazewski

Brooke Ustazewski has served as the assistant principal at McIntyre Elementary School since July 2024. She has worked in the North Hills School District since 2017 and was most recently a fifth grade teacher at Highcliff Elementary School.

Prior to North Hills, Brooke taught at Westmoreland Community College and Frederick Douglas Elementary School in Philadelphia.

She attended the University of PIttsburgh for her undergraduate degree and also holds her principal’s certification from Pitt.
